What a great idea! Unifix cube-like phonics manipulatives! Children can "build" words by connecting cubes end-to-end. The set of 90 cubes comes in a plastic jar with a lid with a built-in handle. There are 30 vowels (red cubes) and 60 consonants (blue cubes). There are 2-5 of each consonant and 6 of each vowel (6 of each except 4 of u plus 2 of y). Lower case letters on one side; uppercase on reverse side. Each cube has an individual consonants or vowels printed on it; lower-case letters are printed on one side of each cube, with the upper-case letters printed on the opposite side.
