On a journey to his grandmother's camp, a young Inuk boy asks the animals he meets, "Why are you so happy?" The hares tell him that they are happy to protect each other from the winter wind. The fox says her pups make her happy. Even the river and the wind have reasons to be happy! And this makes the boy think about all the things that make him happy too.
