Summary:
Introduces children to the music of Vivaldi by following the story of Katarina, a pupil at the school for orphans in Venice where Vivaldi taught for most of his life. A gondolier befriends Katarina and shows her around Venice at Carnival time. When Katarina runs into trouble with a mysterious violin, Vivaldi tells her the story of his own life. The story is accompanied by selections of Vivaldi's most famous works, including the Four Seasons.
