'Perspectives on globalization' resources have been developed to provide teachers with a tool to present the multi-demensional and stimulating vision of social studies described in the Alberta Social Studies Program of Studies. Critical inquiry, respect for diversity, and a personal understanding of citizenship form the foundation of the Program of Studies, as outlined in the general and specific outcomers.
