Summary
The Great Spirit calls Eagle and Raven to carry him across the world, but he is very heavy. When Raven eats so much he can't fly, Eagle must carry them both. Then Frog joins the journey. Eagle becomes tired and frustrated with his heavy load, plus his passengers begin to tease him. Angrily, Eagle drops them from his back and they fall to the ground. Worried, Eagle flies close to investigate and the Great Spirit grabs him by his head-feathers. Eagle pulls until he breaks free, but all his head-feathers have turned white. Eagle is horrified, but Great Spirit tells him that is what he gets for having no sense of humour.
