Tom and Elenna travel the plains in search of Tagus the Night Horse, who is wreaking havoc throughout the land of Avantia, in the hopes of stopping him before everything is destroyed, but their plans are threatened when Tom is put in jail and must convince the townspeople he is not the one responsible for the strange events.
