Being a fan of both Kathy Kacer and Sharon E. McKay's work, I felt that I couldn't go wrong with reading a book co-authored by them. My suspicions were correct. This collection of true stories, based on the lives of children who survived the Holocaust, is an eye-opening account of the horrors these children were forced to endure, and of their courage, resilience and will to survive. An excellent read.

Third volume in the Whispers trilogy. These are the stories of a number of Jews who went into hiding during World War 2 in various countries in Europe. As in the other books in this series, the reader gets a real glimpse into what daily life was like for Jews who went into hiding during World War 2. Well written
