Ten-year-old Marty knows a few important things. One is that he definitely Chinese and no other kid in his French-Canadian, Alberta school is. He also knows that Shane Baxter and other bullies could pound him into dust, that teachers don't get mad, they just get disappointed, and that Remi is his only trusted friend. But when school property is tagged with graffiti and his friend Remi is held in suspicion, Marty knows that he must learn a lot more if he is to help find the Graffiti Ghoul and solve the mystery of the vandalism.
