Resumen:
When Quincy was eight years old, his mother made him a quilt using fabrics that reminded him of all the things he loved most in the world. Quincy loved his quilt. He snuggled up with it to watch movies, and wrapped himself up in it every night to go to sleep. Quincy’s quilt made him very happy. As Quincy got older and grew into a teenager, the things he loved when he was eight began to seem childish. Even his special quilt seemed silly and got tucked away. As a teenager, Quincy spent more time with his friends exploring a bigger world and trying new things, and he spent less time with his family doing the things he had once loved. One day Quincy came home from school feeling sad. He felt like he had lost a piece of himself. Quincy’s Quilt explores our search for identity as we grow and change. It also highlights the comfort that familiar and loved posessions provide as they remind us of who we are and what brings us joy.
