Resumen
Wenonah, a young Ojibwe girl who becomes blind after witnessing the fire that killed her parents, learns of the plight of a loon and its chicks near her log house by the lake. Using her treasured wooden loon, a gift made by her grandfather, she devises a plan to save the chicks. As a reward for her compassion and selflessness, a miracle occurs and her sight is restored.
