Resumen:
"Alice in Wonderland" was told to Alice Liddell and her two young sisters by a friend of their father at Oxford, Charles Dodgson (alias Lewis Carroll). Dodgson was often given to entertaining the girls with stories during summer jaunts on the river. There had been many similar jaunts, and similar stories, but on this occasion Alice Liddell enjoyed the story Dodgson told so much that she asked him to write it down for her. He did so and the very first version of Alice, known as "Alice's Adventures Under Ground" came into being. It was revised and expanded into the work we have today, which is presented here along with another of Dodgson's famous but less often printed works, "The Hunting of the Snark".
