Presents teachers with lessons using concrete mathematics materials for teaching mathematical and algebraic concepts involving ratios, integers, polynomials, factoring and solving problems. Students are encouraged to manipulate the "x" and/or "y" tiles, reflect on what they have done, formulate some theories and a strategy or algorithm to do the problem. This is a hands-on resource for students learning algebra.
