Resumen:
Many Christians wonder how world religions like Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and native American religions are to be understood from the perspective of the claim that Jesus Christ is the only way tosalvation. The author offers a fully worked-out, carefully biblical and Reformed case for the conviction that the sovereignty of God's saving grace, while exclusively ground in the person and work of Jesus Christ, is not exclusively limited to the church's evangelistic effort (or lack thereof). The strength of this theology is that it is both exclusive and inclusive. Exclusive because it upholds Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation, but inclusive becasue it sees God's grace at work in all religions and among all people. Part I asks, "How does God save people?" and Part II asks, "How do the religions fit into God's purposes in the world?". This resource will be especially helpful to those teaching on world religions and the Christian response.
