(#1-5) AMOS & BORIS: Amos the mouse and Boris the whale have little in common except that they are both mammals and save each other's lives. (#6-10) CHESTER THE WORLDLY PIG: Chester longs to be a performer in the circus, but the road to stardom is rocky until someone discovers Chester's true "worldliness." (#11-15) FRIEND FROG: When Field Mouse finds he can't croak, or jump, or swim like Frog, he worries they'll never be friends -- until a dangerous situation teaches them both the true dimensions of friendship. (#16-20) THE GRUFFALO: A clever mouse uses the threat of a terrifying creature to keep from being eaten by a fox, an owl, and a snake--only to have to outwit that creature as well. (#21-25) THE SECRET PLACE: A small boy finds a secret place in the city that he shares with a white egret, mallards, and even ducklings.
