Resumen
The CCAT 7 is used to help determine a student’s eligibility for gifted and talented programs. It measures cognitive reasoning across verbal, nonverbal, and quantitative domains. The results of the CCAT 7 are based on Canadian norms. This assessment has been constructed to be English Language Learner (ELL) friendly and provides greater equity and fairness for these students. The CCAT 7 is a group administered assessment completed with paper and pencil. Students fill in answer sheets or test booklets depending on the level of test they are completing.
