This story explains how when Old Man and his Daughter were busy placing the stars in ordered patterns upon the sky, mischievous Coyote tipped over the Great Spirit's box of stars causing the stars to race for the sky. This is the reason so many stars twinkle without order or pattern, and why so many are not named.
