Griffin, excited to spend the summer with his uncle who lives at 221 Baker Street, is let down when he realizes he lives in the flat next door to Sherlock Holmes and is not the well-known detective, but instead an eccentric inventor, but his feelings about the trip begin to change when he is faced with a strange mystery and uses the man's inventions to crack the case.
