Título:
Mental health first aid [kit] : for adults who interact with youth
Resumen:
Mental Health First Aid Canada (MHFA Canada) is an international evidence-based program that helps participants recognize the signs of mental health problems and assist those who may be experiencing a mental health crisis, as appropriate, guiding individuals to professional help through the MHFA action steps. This program helps to improve mental health literacy and decrease stigma by providing knowledge, skills and specific helping actions. MHFA is not therapy or counselling. Like physical first aid, appropriate actions steps are taught and applied until appropriate professional help is accessed. The action steps are taught during the MHFA E-learning course.
