This resource is a tool that can help present the multi-faceted vision of social studies described in the Alberta Social Studies 30-2 Program of Studies. Critical inquiry, issues analysis, multiple perspectives, skills-based approaces, and a personal understanding of citizensip and identity form the foundation of the Program of Studies. The Understandings of Ideologies resources were designed to address the program's key and related issues and outcomes and general and specific outcomes.
