Igis and Qos try to have a child without success, so Igis calls upon Dzunukwa, a witch-creature to help. She agrees, but warns that if the child ever calls out in sadness then Dzunukwa will return and take, not only the child, but all the village children as well! Igis agrees and they have a son, Klundux. All is well until one day the child, tired of being teased, runs away crying and calls out to Dzunukwa to take him away.
