Ecosystems presentations [CD].

Resumen
World Biomes looks at the world’s major biomes such as the Tropical Rainforest, Coniferous Forests, The Desert Scrub, The Savannah, The Mountains, Grasslands, Tundra and more. Flows and Cycles identifies the processes of the Water Cycle, Carbon and Nitrogen Cycles and its importance for Producers and Animals in creating energy for reproduction, growth and daily living. Rainforests re-emphasises the importance of the Water and Nutrient Cycles to rainforests there locations around the world. This topic also identifies the levels and types of Vegetation found and there overall characteristics found in a unique environment. Global Demand for Resources looks at the importance of Natural Resources such as Healthy Uncontaminated Food, Water Supplies, Shelter and Clothing, etc. Resource consumption by Economically Developed and Non-Economically Developed countries and there fight for survival. Consideration here is also given to the environment – Carbon Emissions and Global Warming. Living and Non Living Community provides a clear picture to what an Ecosystem is and it’s general make up of non-living (abiotic) and living (biotic) factors that form a Community. This topic also looks at how community ecosystems are linked together by Food Chains. World Resources gives a clear picture into the growing demand for energy as populations around the world increases. Other areas include Renewable and Non-renewable Energy, Environment, Recycling and the importance for Resource Substitution.
