A great Canadian artist, Clarence Gagnon is best known for his rural Quebec landscapes and the illustrations for a Louis Hémon novel, but was also an award-winning printmaker, passionate outdoorsman, active promoter of Quebec handicrafts, friend of Group of Seven artists and enthusiastic optimist.
