Wilfrid "Wop" May was one of Canada's most famous airmen. He was chased and almost shot down in an air battle with the famous Red Baron. He flew under bridges just for the thrill of it. He flew in dense fog and freezing cold in open cockpit aircraft. And, he was among the first to fly into the northern wilderneww, in the dead of winter, to deliver mail and medicines to isolated settlements.
