Moving to a new city means Alina has to make new friends. And nothing is worse than lunch at a new school. She tries to join other kids at their tables, but they've been friends since kindergarten, and there doesn't seem to be room for her. A visit from her loving grandmother means all kinds of delicious Indian food, made with her favorite spices. But when a mysterious bully leaves Alina a cruel note making fun of her lunch, things don't taste so good anymore.
