Every year Muslims around the world look forward to the month of Ramadan. It is a time of early morning meals and prayers, of adults and older children fasting during the daylight hours, of visits to the mosque, of being especially kind to others, all culminating in the joyful celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr. And everyone follows the progress of the moon - from one nre moon to the next.
