Sommaire:
"Jeanne Pelletier revived Métis dance in southern Saskatchewan single-handedly. She formed community groups with kids, worked with kids in schools, and produced videos for educational purposes. She went on to get dance in the university curriculum for Saskatchewan Urban Native Teacher Education Program (SUNTEP) students and for years taught future teachers to jig, form square and do contra dances. Without her dedication to preserving Métis dance in the south, there would be few who experience it now. This book is a biography of Jeanne's life. It contains calls for many dances to help preserve the art of square dance calling.".
