Every bit of who we are: A Grade 7 Bible unit
Darlene. Eerkes
Sommaire
:
The central thrust of the Bible is the story of Christ's sacrifice on the cross to redeem His people. We seek to grow in faith and maturity. This grade seven Bible unit is designed to encourage students to struggle with complex questions concerning God's activity, self-identity and their ultimate reason for existence. The book of Habakkuk forms the basis of these studies as teachers lead students in finding parallels between Habakkuk's situation and the events in our world today. Students will be challenged to ask big questions and, through the study of Old and New Testament scripture, be encouraged and guided to find responses to these questions. Includes thematic statement, essential questions, learner outcomes, teacher notes, and assessment and evaluation suggestions.
