This book teaches elementary school aged children about the impacts of plastic debris in our oceans and, in turn, their relationship with the oceans as part of their natural environment. In the story, Kai, Morgan, and their new friend, Botley, are invited aboard the super submersible 'Spirit' for an ocean journey. Together, they witness firsthand the harmful impacts plastic is having on ocean animals and learn about many of the ways they and others can help stop plastic going into our oceans. After their adventure, the two children become ocean champions by raising awareness and inspiring positive changes in their school and community.
